So this was me at the end of last night, going on midnight, proud of what I’d done and with no idea what I was going to do to the other shoe. I must have had some good dreams though as I woke up with a fully formed idea that would hopefully take less that the 4 hours I’d spent on the right shoe.

I’d laser cut some templates to spray-paint a design onto Alex’s party bags, one of the templates was of the kanji characters for Godzilla, I figured if I could recreate the sunburst and paint his name over it it would look a good match for the first shoe.

So everything was looking great. Right up to the moment I realised in my sleep deprived state I had painted the name on upside-down, oh well when Alex looks down at his shoe it’ll be right way up for him 🤪

So the shoes are finished, what does Alex think of them…
